Brandwatch™ Taggants

The up-converting phosphors produced by BrandWatch™ Technologies have the ability to be embedded in a variety of hosts which include paper, plastic, fiber, adhesive, paint, ink, lacquer and more. Additionally, Brandwatch can add custom forensic markers for customers who require a globally unique anti-counterfeiting solution.

Low dose required for high response

The phosphor loading is done at extremely low levels so that the host's optical and mechanical properties remain unchanged. Thus, the presence of the phosphor is detectable with our highly sensitive proprietary instrumentation.

"Non-Line of Sight" Technology

Due to the sophistication of Brandwatch™'s proprietary detectors, they are able to "see through the package" and detect embedded particulates hidden underneath a variety of consumer packaging materials.

Chemically and thermally stable

Our product does not react with water or dilute acids/bases. It will retain its integrity at temperatures up to 1500°C and under direct sunlight. Its lifespan is considered to be hundreds of years.

Completely safe

Because phosphors are chemically inert and non-toxic, they are safe for human handling using standard industrial safety gear.
