Phil Huff CEO
Phil Huff is CEO of Portland–based BrandWatch™ Technologies, a company founded in 2001 to provide brand security and product authentication solutions to companies worldwide. The company offers a line of unique microscopic taggants and customizable detection systems that can be tailored to meet customers’ Brand Security needs. These products significantly reduce counterfeiting and diversion by making it possible for brand owners to quickly and efficiently authenticate all genuine versions.
As CEO, Huff is responsible for the day-to-day operation and growth of the company. Huff brings to the firm more than 25 years of executive experience as both CEO and president for companies in multiple industries. He has successfully built and grown organizations in the past, and has significant experience working with the BrandWatch investment team.
Prior to joining BrandWatch, Huff was president and CEO of Cincinnati-based eLynx, the preeminent provider of e-Signature technology and secure document delivery for the mortgage lending industry. During his time at eLynx, Huff was responsible for providing company direction and successfully secured over $40 million in outside investment.
Huff also serves on the boards of Cincinnati-based eNvolve Commerce and SignTrak.
Huff lives in Cincinnati with his wife and daughter, and also maintains a part-time residence in Portland, Oregon, near the company’s headquarters. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University of Ohio.
